Now that baseball is back, and summer is just around the corner, I was
wondering, what are your favorite MLB logos. Although I am a Rockies fan,
I live in Colorado, it is not my favorite logo. I guess, you can’t beat the
Yankee’s, probably the most popular, but I will pick the Cubs. That was
my favorite team growing up in Indiana. I went to a lot of games as a kid.
Some with my Dad and some on the YMCA bus. Fun times back then. Just
wish, once I would have a good team to root for.

It is time to get ready for some baseball. Time to enjoy the sun and a few cold
ones at the park. that said, you better find your MLB Jerseys now instead of
trying to find them on game day when you go to the park. If you are like me,
you put them away after the season, took out your other jersey’s and can’t remember
where you put them or where your wife put them. Best to find them now instead of
being in a panic on game day.

Wish I was In Phoenix

It is so cold here, I wish I was in Phoenix. I wish I was a baseball player,
putting on one of my MLB shirts and taking batting practice. But at my
age, the best I could hope for is picking up the bats. That would not be to
bad, at least I would be out of the cold. but thing being what they are, I will
just have to wait for summer.

With all the baseball teams heading out for spring training, we know
that summer is just around the corner. It is just about time for me
to take out my winter floor mats and put in my MLB car floor mats.
My NFL ones are for winter and they sure show it. The MLB ones
seem to look nicer, but I am sure that is because they only come out
in the summer. The NFL ones get the brunt of the winter. Either way,
they both clean up nice and are easier to care for than the carpeted ones.

Wow, 175 Million

If you are a good baseball pitcher, you can make 175 million dollars for
throwing a ball. You only have to do it for 7 years, guaranteed. You get a
few MLB caps to wear and only have to work every forth day. It’s a great
job if you can get it. That’s right, a pitcher got this contract, the most in
MLB history. And the nice thing is, if he does not perform, he still gets
paid. Wow, 175 million.

Jim Tracy has quit as manager of the Colorado Rockies. He didn’t quit on the
players, he quit on the worst owners  in all of baseball. The Rockies owners and
staff have absolutely no idea on how to run a baseball team. Tracy is a good
manager and will be wearing somebody else’s MLB jerseys in the future, while
the Rockies will continue be be at the bottom of the pile. The Rockies will get
another manager and he will have the same problems, good talent, bad owners.

Although I like pro sports, the Olympics were a refreshing change. About the only thing
to watch now is a bunch of guys wearing MLB caps. The great thing about the Olympics
is the variety of sports you can watch. It’s not just the same o same o. I’m glad they only have
them once every 4 years because it really gives you something to look forward to. It is also a
pleasure to watch people compete for the love of competition which I do not think you see
in pro sports. To many of them play for the money and the money alone.

Why do the Colorado Rockies stink so bad? Is is pitching, sure is.
Is it poor at bats with runners on base, sure is. Is it the coach and
the general manager, sure is. But what it really is, is the owners.
The Monfort brothers know nothing about baseball. Because they
had a rich daddy, they could afford to buy the team. The Monforts
are either cheap and won’t get in the talent needed to win or they,
or they have to much belief in their general manager who keep pulling
the trigger on the wrong players. The Rockies are on pace to loss
100 game this year, and the Monforts still endorse their coach and
general manager. For the Rockies to get better, the Monforts need to
sell to an owner who has the money to invest in a winner and the
brains to get a good general manager who has the talent to get some
good players wearing MLB caps with Rockies logo on them.

Baseballs 83rd All Star game is coming up on July 10th. Of all the All Star games, baseballs is the best.
This is the only one where the players play hard, and you get to see the best players. Hockey’s is pretty
good as is basketball’s. But nothing to me compares to baseballs. The worst and by far the worst is
footballs. Not only do the players not play hard, the best players do not play in the game. Many are
preparing for the Super Bowl. The NFL should dump their game. Give me green grass and the boys of
summer in their MLB caps over the other games any day.

I am thinking of changing jobs and I have been looking around for something I might really
enjoy. I would like a career that I really enjoy, I get paid a lot, get to travel and don’t have
to work much. After much searching, I have found the perfect job. I am going to be a major
league baseball pitcher. After researching the job, it fits my criteria very well. I should make
in the neighborhood of 15 million a year, I only have to work once every four days and if I get
tired, they take me out. I will get to travel and stay in the finest hotels. And if all that is not
good enough, I get about 4 months vacation a year. As you can see, if you do the research,
anything is possible. Now I just have to see whose MLB caps look the best on me and contact
that team and offer up mu services.
