The great Kobe Bryant will be out of basketball for 6-9 months.
With his age, you have to wonder if he will retire. I doubt it. He
is guaranteed 30 million dollars next year. Hard to walk away
from that. Kobe will be pulling up his NBA socks next year, but
it most likely will be after his therapy, not before a game.
If your are going to buy me a Nascar gift for my birthday, make it the pace car.
And wait until they use the new corvette. I really want one and cannot afford
one. Oh, and by the way, could you also pay for the tags and insurance, probably
can’t afford those either. If this is to much to ask,
Now that baseball is back, and summer is just around the corner, I was
wondering, what are your favorite MLB logos. Although I am a Rockies fan,
I live in Colorado, it is not my favorite logo. I guess, you can’t beat the
Yankee’s, probably the most popular, but I will pick the Cubs. That was
my favorite team growing up in Indiana. I went to a lot of games as a kid.
Some with my Dad and some on the YMCA bus. Fun times back then. Just
wish, once I would have a good team to root for.
Some people collect comic books, some guns and others books. Most people
collect something. I have one friend who collects Star Wars toys. He must have
hundreds, or thousands of them. I have another friend who collects NHL merchandise.
Me, I collect a lot of things, but don’t keep it to just one subject. I have a little of this and
a little of that. Seems more interesting to me that way.
I love Nascar and I have a few Nascar shirts. Compared to other shirts I have,
they are the brightest. That goes for the jackets I have as well. If you look at them,
they are all very bright, almost neon colors. I wonder if I can be seen from space.
I don’t know for sure, but I will bet that people who wear that bicycle gear can be.
I swear, when we see them on the horses, they blind our beasts. Nascar does their’s
in style. Maybe the bicycle people should hire them.
Spring is almost here. Time to get out your MLB apparel and get it ready
for the summer. Time to see some real green grass and some nice warm
temperatures. Time to say good bye to the snow and sit in the stands and
watch a great game, chat with friends and enjoy a cold one.
With all the college football players doing the best they can to impress the
NFL teams trying them out, they must be wondering what team they will go
to. Who’s NFL luggage tags will they be sent. What city will they be moving
to. What an exciting and nervous time it must be for them, when their dreams
are about to come true about playing in the NFL. Just wish I had some talent.
I am thinking of changing jobs and I have been looking around for something I might really
enjoy. I would like a career that I really enjoy, I get paid a lot, get to travel and don’t have
to work much. After much searching, I have found the perfect job. I am going to be a major
league baseball pitcher. After researching the job, it fits my criteria very well. I should make
in the neighborhood of 15 million a year, I only have to work once every four days and if I get
tired, they take me out. I will get to travel and stay in the finest hotels. And if all that is not
good enough, I get about 4 months vacation a year. As you can see, if you do the research,
anything is possible. Now I just have to see whose MLB caps look the best on me and contact
that team and offer up mu services.
Hockey’s over, baseball is in full swing, basketball is going great. What will you watch this weekend?
I’m going for the US Open, the second major of the year. Although there are several golf tournaments
to watch each year, nothing is like the majors. To majors are like championships in other sports, except
gold has 4 a year and the other sports only have one. I could get in my car, put my feet on my
MLB car floor mats and drive to the park and watch a game, but because it’s going to be so hot,
I think I will stay at home and watch golf. What will you be watching?
Of the 4 biggest sports, football, basketball, hockey and baseball, football kicks the other
3′s in the butt. Football is also the biggest money maker of the 4, even though is has by
far the shortest season. NCAA apparel as a whole probably out sells the NFL, but for the
big 4, the NFL is king. Why is this?. It’s because of the regular season 16 game schedule.
If you miss one game, you miss a lot. With 16 games, 1 game means a lot if you lose. The
other 3 have so many games, if you miss a game you miss nothing. The other three should
shorten their seasons.
