Helemt to Helmet Hits On Quarterbacks Need To Be Stopped

Colt McCoy, quarterback of the Browns received a devastating hit from James Harrison. It was a helmet to face mask hit. McCoy suffered a head concussion. The only way the league is going to protect these unprotected quarterbacks from these hits is to fine the players much more money for the first hit and to suspend them for a minimum of 8 games for the second hit. On the third hit they should be gone for an entire season. These hits on quarterbacks to the head or face need to be stopped. Head injuries can have extreme lasting effects for the remainder of a persons life. Defensive players have a whole body to hit and there is no excuse to be planting their NFL helmet logos on a quarterbacks head
